There are many instances where we come up with ideas, write a business plan, and start a business in hopes it runs a successful course of existence. Sometimes businesses last many, many years and end up being passed down to the next generation. While other businesses do not survive the first year or even make it to year five.
There was an article in Florida Today. It was about a dining/music venue in Melbourne, FL named Iron Oak Post. Apparently the owner had to close its doors. After opening two years ago with visions of the venue being one of Melbourne’s go to locations for food and drinks, music and fun combined. Here it is two years in and closing up shop.
Various reasons could be the cause of a business closing. The important thing is to never allow the demise of a project be the end of your motivation.
Instead, head back to the drawing boards, grab another idea, write a new business plan and start a new business. Always remember, when one door closes two more doors open.
Second, once approved, begin swiping and
collecting your points.
Stay focused. Never stray from the big picture.
You only have one life to play forward.
