Summer is soon approaching. Do you have any plans? No, staying home is not a plan. That is laziness. You must get up, get out and do something productive. Something that causes you to engage with the world around you. If you are lost, begin with obtaining one of those FREE local magazines and find out what is happening in your area. Create a list of fun and interesting things you would love to take part in. Then, go out and execute the items on that list. Let’s not waste away the year of 2026. Instead conquer this year. Grab it by the ear and yell at it, “Who’s The Boss?!”
Many of us have lost loved ones this year. They have fallen subject to the other side. Yet, we are still here. It may be the end of their stories here on Earth. It does not mean the same for us. We Are Still Here!

The oldest known celebration among African Americans across the U.S., the Juneteenth Celebration Opens in new window commemorates the announcement of the end of slavery in the U.S.; local events include musical performances, a car show, arts and crafts, children’s activities, and various food vendors.
